$90/hr
RMT Services are Directly Billable to Insurance Providers & WSIB
Fascial Work
Fascial work includes direct and indirect techniques such as fascial stretch therapy, proprioceptive neuromuscular release therapy (PNF), and manual release therapy, and neuromuscular release therapy.
IASTM (Use of Fascial Tools)
Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Release (IASTM) works like a standard massage, but specialized instruments are used in place of a physical therapist's hands. These instruments allow more direct treatment of the soft tissues involved with movement, manually removing restrictions in fascial tissue in order to improve range of motion, movability and decrease pain.
Lymphatic Drainage (RMT)
The lymphatic system is a network of vessels and organs that lie beneath the skin, and it’s a critical component of a healthy immune system. In fact, your lymphatic system acts almost like a garbage disposal, helping your body filter out waste and bacteria.
Lymphatic drainage massage, which is sometimes called manual lymphatic drainage, or MLD, involves gently massaging areas of the body to help move lymph fluid to an area with working lymph vessels.
Therapeutic Massage (RMT)
Massage therapy is the manipulation of soft tissues of the body including muscles, connective tissue, tendons, ligaments and joints. Massage therapy is a clinically-oriented healthcare option that helps alleviate the discomfort associated with every day occupational stresses, muscular over-use and many chronic pain conditions. Massage therapy should only be provided by a Registered Massage Therapist (RMT). An RMT is a primary healthcare provider in Ontario and anyone may visit an RMT of their choice.
Massage therapy can be used as a treatment for both acute and chronic conditions. RMTs work with a wide variety of patients in the treatment of illness, injury rehabilitation and disability.
The services of an RMT are not covered under the Ontario Health Insurance Plan (OHIP); however, many extended health benefit plans will cover all or part of the services provided by an RMT. A referral or prescription is not required to visit an RMT, although some insurance companies may require this. Massage therapy treatments may also be reimbursed by automobile insurance companies, if the client was in a motor vehicle accident, or in the case of workplace injuries, by the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB).
What to Expect at your First Appointment :
On the first visit you will complete a confidential health history as part of your assessment. Your massage therapist will assess your individual needs as well as other factors that may be contributing to your injury or condition. The RMT will develop a treatment plan with you to ensure you receive appropriate treatment. The treatment plan can be changed at any time and will be reassessed at an appropriate time. You have no obligation to undergo any part of a treatment. Your treatment will begin once you have given your informed consent. This involves setting realistic goals for treatment, discussing possible responses to treatment, and being informed of alternative care options.
Reflexology (RMT) . . . . . . . . . . . . . $ 70/ .5 hr (30 mins)
Reflexology is a focused pressure technique, usually directed at the feet or hands. It is based on the premise that there are zones and reflexes on different parts of the body which corresponds to and are relative to all parts, glands and organs of the entire body.
When the reflexes are stimulated, the body's natural electrical energy works along the nervous system to clear any blockages in the corresponding zones. A reflexology session seems to break up deposits (felt as a sandy or gritty area under the skin) which may interfere with this natural flow of the body's energy. Manipulating specific reflexes removes stress, activating a parasympathetic response in the body to enable the disharmonies to be released by a physiological change in the body. With stress removed and circulation improved, the body is allowed to return to a state of homeostasis.
Reflexology demonstrates four (4) main benefits:
Relaxation with the removal of stress.
Enhanced circulation.
Assists the body to normalize metabolism naturally.
Complements all other healing modalities.
Unregistered Massage, Energywork & Bodywork

Reiki . . . . . . . . . . . . . $90/hr
Reiki therapy is based on an Eastern belief that vital energy flows through your body. The idea is that a Reiki practitioner uses gentle touch -- or places their hands just above your body -- to help guide this energy in a way that promotes balance and healing. A Japanese man named Mikao Usui developed reiki in the 1920s. The term comes from two Japanese words: “Rei,” which means universal, and “ki,” which loosely translates to a lifeforce of energy. While there’s no research to show that the energy field involved in Reiki exists, you may find it relaxing. Reiki has been studied for conditions like pain, anxiety, and depression. It’s a complementary treatment, which means you use it along with proven traditional medical treatments.
Indian Head Massage. . . . . . . . . . . . . $90/hr
Indian head massage, also known as champissage, is a treatment that focuses on massaging acupressure points along the head, neck, and shoulders, often using circular massage strokes to improve hair and scalp condition. Indian head massage is an ancient therapeutic practice that has been used in India for over 2000 years, (since around 600 B.C.), and requires no oils or equipment, making it a very accessible treatment, perfect for newcomers to massage.
